Consider your feet – those heels, toes, and soles. They are the foundation of your body. If your feet are out of balance, your knees, hips, pelvis, or spine may be out of alignment too (and that could be why your back hurts). So consider these questions carefully:
Do you stand or work on hard surfaces for more than 4 hours a day?
Do you participate regularly in any physical sport, such as basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, or bowling?
Are you age 40 or over?
Have you had prior injury to your knees, back, or neck?
Do your shoes wear unevenly?
Do you have joint pain while standing, walking, or running?
Do you have obvious foot problems like bunions, corns, or flat feet?
