Prolozone Therapy

An Injection-Based Approach for Joint and Musculoskeletal Pain

Prolozone Therapy is an injection-based treatment designed to support the body’s natural healing response in painful or injured joints and surrounding tissues.

The treatment combines principles of prolotherapy with medical oxygen-ozone (O₂/O₃) therapy. Depending on the area being treated and the individual patient’s needs, treatment may be directed into or around joints, ligaments, tendons, or other painful musculoskeletal structures.

How Does Prolozone Therapy Work?

At East Wellness, treatment typically begins with a therapeutic solution injected into or around the affected area. Depending on the patient’s individual needs, the solution may contain:

• Dextrose
• B vitamins
• Minerals
• Other selected ingredients

This is followed by the injection of a carefully prepared oxygen-ozone (O₂/O₃) gas mixture into or around the targeted area.

The goal is to reduce pain, improve mobility and function, and support the body’s natural response to injured or irritated tissues.

What Conditions May Be Considered?

Prolozone Therapy may be considered for certain musculoskeletal conditions, including:
